Single-Terminal Sunport — Simple, but the Lanes Matter
Unlike multi-terminal hubs (DFW, ORD, ATL), the Albuquerque Sunport has one main passenger building with a Concourse A and Concourse B. Every airline serving ABQ — Southwest (the dominant carrier here), American, Delta, United, Alaska, JetBlue, Sun Country — operates out of the same terminal. Departure drop-off is on the upper level off Sunport Blvd; arrivals and baggage claim are on the lower level. Sounds simple, but the upper-level curb backs up during the 5 AM and 4 PM peak windows, and authorized commercial-livery curbside drop-off operates from a specific zone that's separate from the rideshare loop. Our chauffeurs are trained on those zones and use them efficiently — a 90-second curbside hand-off when the timing matters, or a coordinated lower-level Meet & Greet pickup when you'd rather not wrangle luggage on a Sunport upper-level sidewalk in October's wind.
