Two Routes, One Flat Rate
The Low Road (NM-68) follows the Rio Grande between Santa Fe and Taos — flat, fast, ~2.5 hours total drive time from ABQ Sunport. The standard pick for an early-morning Sunport departure or a same-day round-trip. The High Road (NM-518 / NM-76) climbs east through the Sangre de Cristo foothills past the Santuario de Chimayo (the 1816 pilgrimage church famous for healing-soil legend), the historic Hispano village of Truchas (Robert Redford's 'The Milagro Beanfield War' filming location), Las Trampas's 1760 San José de Gracia Church, and Picurís Pueblo before descending into Taos. ~3.5 hours total — slower, but the most scenic 80 miles in New Mexico. Same flat rate either way; we honor the Low Road / High Road preference at booking.
